Autumn has arrived, the leaves are turning, and we’ve got a brilliant line-up of events to bring everyone together here at Lambourne House. October is all about connection, learning, and a little bit of spooky fun – so grab your diaries and make sure you don’t miss out!

Breakfast Morning – Thursday, October 2nd at 9:30am

There’s nothing better than starting your day with good food and good company. Join us in the lounge for our Breakfast Morning, where fresh pastries, fruit, and hot drinks will be waiting for you.

It’s the perfect chance to catch up with neighbours, share a laugh, and set yourself up for a positive day ahead. Whether you pop by for a quick coffee or stay for a chat, we’d love to see as many of you there as possible.

Fire Marshall Session – Wednesday, October 8th at 12:00pm

At Lambourne House, safety is something we take seriously – and it’s important that our members feel confident too. That’s why we’re hosting a Fire Marshall Session this month.

Taking place over lunchtime, this session will cover the essentials of fire safety: prevention tips, what to do in an emergency, and how to keep both yourself and others safe. It’s an incredibly useful workshop, whether you’re looking to build confidence or refresh your knowledge.

Pumpkin Carving Competition – Carving from October 20th | Voting on October 28th

Spooky season is officially here! Starting October 20th, pumpkins will be available for members to collect and carve at home. Get creative – whether it’s something spooky, funny, or just beautifully designed, we want to see your best work.

Once your pumpkin is carved, bring it back to Lambourne House and put it on display. On October 28th, we’ll hold a vote to crown the Best Pumpkin 2024. It’s a fun way to show off your skills and bring a little festive spirit into our community space. Plus, there’ll be a small prize for the winner!

October is shaping up to be a month full of opportunities to connect, learn, and celebrate together. Whether you’re joining us for a relaxed breakfast, brushing up on fire safety, or showing off your pumpkin-carving talent, we hope you’ll take part and enjoy everything Lambourne House has to offer.
